Vertex announced their sales kick of for the year this afternoon in style at the sumptuous Luton Hoo mansion hotel. Vertex employee’s were given the afternoon away from the phones to gather together and listen to the views from the boardroom and the verdict on the financial year finishing October 2010.
The mood of the meeting was extremely positive with confirmation of a 60% increase in revenue on last year and the recognition that this was delivered in a year that started with the hang over from the worst recession seen in the UK since world war II.
The commitment and continued work efforts of all of the team members were highly commended and a large pat on the back was given to everyone involved.

It was further recognised that Vertex has matured significantly as an organisation, implementing a matrix management structure and formalising career paths for would be managers as well as “super billers”.
John O’Sullivan, Vertex Solutions non exec Chairman, was able to add to the congratulations confirming that the ethos and the team attitude within Vertex was the reason for the Company “out performing the market in 2009/10”.
Looking forward, Vertex’s management team, lead by Mark Beard was delighted to announce a strong financial platform for continued internal investment and Company growth in 2011. Vertex has developed a strong policy of training and development from top to bottom and will continue to develop this in 2011 in partnership with both Elite Leaders and Lander Associates. Further expansion of the sales force was announced, with 19 new recruits planned for 2011.
As one would expect the afternoon was rounded off with a glass of champagne and an informal drinks reception, which for some no doubt stretched on in to the evening!
