We're currently hiring for Big Data System Admin to be based on the City of Start-ups, Berlin!
We've grown significantly over the last few years and our ability to keep things running is largely due to the team we have looking after the Infrastructure.
We're looking for a Big Data System Administrator to join our team to help in building a scalable infrastructure that provides "social migration" data looking at population data and how this can be used to pinpoint and identify targeted advertising (although this is left to our clients).
As our Big Data System Administrator, you'll come to join the company which is doing something quite unique and nobody else is doing in the market. You will be the person who will be making the infrastructure more scalable, dealing with 100 Terabytes of data with the use of Big Data Technologies. This is basically a system administrator role on steroids, where you will be working with the technologies like python, bash, Linux and she'll, but also be using Big Data tools to help interrogate and make sense of the data.
We like scientists and people who are inquisitive and love challenges. You'll be working and learning from some of the best people in the industry and we're looking for a Big Data System Administrator who loves to try out new things, learn and adapt to challenging situations to keep our internal and external services running.
This is a challenging and interesting opportunity, where you'll be building the solution for 400 clients and every client is getting the personalized solution. We're based in Germany and offers services in other countries in Europe like Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Germany, etc.
Is this role is challenging enough to proceed further.
