Why recruitment?
 
Last summer 2 of my friends joined the recruitment game, speaking to them made me realize the amount of money you can earn! But they did mention that the money only came with hard work and resilience, which made me realize this was the career path for me as I work extremely hard!

Plus knowing my greatest strengths; working in a sales environment, working under pressure and also working with and alongside people- this was the job where I could utilize my assets to the best potential, subsequently earn a lot of money!
 
Has it been as expected?

Yes, I haven’t been surprised by anything which has occurred since I joined Vertex Solutions. I think when you join into a recruitment company you always have to remember a few key points, i.e. it’s a high pressurized environment, retention rate of staff is high, target driven environment, going in knowing such points will make your days as a recruitment consultant much easier and less stressful!
 
What do I enjoy about the work?
 
What I enjoy most is the variety involved, every day is different. I relish the autonomy we are granted and the regular challenges I face from clients, candidates and my managers! Apart from that, it’s a fun company to work for.
 
Why Vertex?
 
Firstly, the commission structure is one of the best in the market; working at 40% of your billings is amazing! This shows that Vertex really do reward hard work unlike a number of recruitment companies across the Country who pay within a tiered commission Structure! Where else do you get 40% commission!

Secondly, there is a clear plan for the growth of the company over the next 5 years, which really impressed me when I spoke to my Director in my first interview!
