THE ROLE

Leading global bank urgently seeks a Lead Backend Java developer / team lead to join an innovative mobile banking team on a leading edge digital banking programme.

This is a hands on development role but perhaps 30% of your time will be spent leading, guiding and managing the team and getting involved with design and planning activities with other senior team members.

You MUST have extensive teop level backend core Java development skills and particularly MUST have strong Cloud, AWS skills and strong data/database skills inc NoSqo and MongoDb.

This team are responsible for building the front end and back end of a series of mobile banking application as part of a much larger digital programme. Any knowledge in the mobile sector or digital banking would be very welcome. You should have excellent communication skills, great team leading ability and be outstanding technically.
